However, treatments can be added or removed depending on your preferences. Many patients choose to add vaginal rejuvenation procedures to their mommy makeover.
How much weight do you lose with a mommy makeover?
On average, patients can expect to lose 5 to 10 pounds from a mommy makeover. However, it’s important to keep in mind that this weight loss may not all be related to fat loss. Some of this weight loss comes from the removal of excess skin. Therefore, if patients are primarily concerned with eliminating fat, it’s important to have realistic expectations for your mommy makeover. In some cases, we may recommend other treatments or approaches for weight loss.
Do I need to lose weight before a mommy makeover?
It is not required to lose weight before a mommy makeover, but it can help enhance your results. The mommy makeover procedure is designed to remove excess skin and stubborn fat, but it is not intended to be a weight loss procedure. If patients are able to lose weight naturally before their surgery, the mommy makeover can be used to achieve the final changes that may not be possible with diet and exercise alone. Generally, patients are recommended to be within 20 pounds of their ideal body weight before receiving a mommy makeover.
Does a mommy makeover include a BBL?
A traditional mommy makeover does not include a Brazilian butt lift, or BBL. However, the procedure can be customized to your needs. If you would like to have a BBL as part of your mommy makeover procedure, it is certainly possible.
